The Caffé Molinari Story
We can trace Molinari history back to the early 19th century in Modena, Italy. The Molinari family started its trading in the food sector and by 1880 Molinari became suppliers to the House of Savoy. Molinari Balsamic Vinegar acquired many prestigious awards. In 1911, the Molinari family opened their first café "Bar Molinari", which became a meeting place for the entire city and for artists and intellectuals, offering the best espresso in the heart of Modena.
In 1944, the founder Giuseppe Molinari and his sons Alberto and Emilio began roasting coffee at their premises in the middle of the historical centre. As business activities grew, roasting eventually moved to larger purpose-built state of the art facilities. Nowadays, Caffè Molinari roasts top of the range coffee blends for enjoyment worldwide.
